All services are performed by students under the supervision of licensed educators. Please review our guest policies before booking.
Every guest appointment at William Edge Institute is also a learning opportunity for one of our future professionals. When an appointment is missed without notice, it doesn’t just affect our schedule — it takes away a hands-on learning experience our student was counting on and prepared for. We ask for your help in respecting both our guests and our students by honoring your appointment time.
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment, so we have the opportunity to offer that time to another guest and keep our students’ clinic hours on track.
Because our services are offered at a significant training discount, we’re not able to absorb repeated missed appointments the way a full-price salon might. As such:
We’re happy to see you, even if you’re running behind! Please note that arriving more than 15 minutes late may require your service to be shortened, modified, or rescheduled, since our students’ clinic time is structured around specific service lengths for their coursework.
We love your little ones, but our clinic floor is a working environment with hot irons, sharp shears, and tight workspaces. For their safety and due to the longer service times associated with a school, we ask that children who need supervision not accompany you to your appointment unless they are also being serviced.
We understand life happens — car trouble, sick kids, work emergencies. If something comes up, just give us a call as soon as you can. We’d always rather hear from you than have you not show up, and our front desk team is happy to work with you to find a new time.
At William Edge Institute, every service is performed by a student under the guidance and supervision of a licensed educator. We stand behind the work performed in our clinic, and if you leave unhappy with your result, we want the chance to make it right. Please let the instructor on the floor know, before you leave, that you are unhappy.
If you’re not satisfied with your service, please contact us within 7 days of your original appointment. Because hair and skin services change over time (color fades, cuts grow out, product buildup occurs), timely reporting helps us address the actual issue rather than a natural side effect of everyday wear.
We’re not able to offer cash refunds on completed services, but we will always work with you until you’re satisfied with the outcome.
Because at-home product use and styling can affect how a service settles in (especially color and chemical services), your educator may ask a few quick questions about your home care routine — this isn’t to place blame, just to make sure we address the full picture when planning your redo.
Our goal is for every guest to leave the Institute feeling confident and cared for — not just as a training exercise, but as a genuine service experience. If something isn’t right, we want to know, and we want the opportunity to fix it.
